D-FY-IT

D-FY-IT is a voluntary program for youth to learn leadership skills and assist their peers to stay drug and alcohol free.

The community and merchants offer discounts and incentives for those youth who participate in staying drug free.

D-FY-IT is offered to those youth in grades 7th through 12th who attend an accredited school, public, private, or home school.

To inspire the youth of the Midland community to lead substance free lives by making healthy life choices.

D-FY-IT provides a confidential avenue for youth to voluntarily stay drug free with incentives and activities.

D-FY-IT works closely with school counselors and parents if a problem is identified.

Parents have asked D-FY-IT for additional information regarding drug testing and identification signs that their child may be using alcohol or drugs. D-FY-IT is a program that can offer this information as well as referrals to organizations that can help if a problem exists. D-FY-IT is also a deterrent for youth to engage in alcohol or drug use, focusing on prevention.

Recently having visited with a college freshman who was a D-FY-IT member when she was in high school, she told me she is starting an alcohol awareness group on her college campus. "Without the guidance, encouragement and leadership skill I learned with D-FY-IT, I would not have begun such a program". - Kenzi

D-FY-It's parent organization PDAP, Midland, TX., Inc is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, all contributions are tax-deductible.
